The only aster to really thrive in shade.Many starry-white flowers on wiry, drooping dark stems appearing from August onwards. Flower stems of 36 ins. if supported but looks good draping through other plants. Great for filling late season gaps.


Half-inch flowers of pale-pink on strong slightly arching sprays. Clumps up well. Young shoots in Spring are distinct bronze-red. Grows to 36 ins. Considered the best pink cultivar of it’s type.


Probably the best all-round choice amongst the Michaelmas Daisies. Upright plant with clear Lavender-blue single flowers from August into Autumn. Mildew free.

Needs sun and reasonably good soil.


¾ inch white flowers in profusion on sprays of open arching branches. Bronze-purple leaves early in season and a haze of flowers in the late Summer.

Full sun. Grows to 50 inches.


A compact plant up to 24 ins. With ½ inch white flowers packed onto short stems. Deep bronze-purple leaves. Prefers partial shade, either moist or dry soil.

Good for cutting. Quite mildew resistant.



Vivid cerise-pink medium sized flowers mid-season ( September into October)

Bushy plants to 36 inches.

Needs an open sunny spot.
