Plant Lists

Intensely fragrant ice-blue flowers in May and June, Grows slowly in a spreading clump.

Moist soil, light shade ie. under deciduous trees.

15 - 18 inches tall.


A handsome variety which flowers from mid-July. Rich, evenly moist soil in sun or partial shade.

Will benefit from the “Chelsea Chop”in May!


Lovely pale-pink and white, scented flowers opening from dark buds. Grow in fertile, moist soil in full sun or partial shade.

Flowers July - October. Mrs Bell lived in Rockbourne  nr. Salisbury.


Handsome purple flowers with white centres on sturdy plants. Late to flower. Good soil which doesn’t dry out in Summer. Full or partial shade.

A well-thought of new cultivar discovered in the garden of the Brandywine Museum in Pennsylvania. Huge pure white flower-heads in mid - late Summer. Good mildew resistance evenly moist soil. Sun or part shade. 36 inches.
