Geraniums

8 - 10 inches tall with purple young leaves and rose-violet flowers in Spring. Grow as ground cover under trees or shrubs. Fertile humus -rich soil in partial shade.



Perhaps the bset known of all the Epimediums. A carpeting perennial growing to 12 inches wide and 6 inches high. Sulphur-yellow star-shaped flowers and lovely leaves colouring in Spring and during the Winter. Prefers woodland conditions but very tolorant of dry situations. Cut back hard in Winter to enjoy the flowers,


Slowly spreading deciduous perennial with crimson or light yellow flowers and pointed leaves which flush red. Semi-full shade.

Fertile, humus-rich moist but draining soil.




Choice ground-cover perennial with heart-shaped serrated leaves, bronze-tinged when young. Small white flowers in loose clusters in Spring. 10 - 18 inches high. Light shade in moisture retentive soil.
