Violet-blue double flowers on erect 48 inch stems.

Flowers in September. Fully hardy.

Mildew resistant.



Moderately strong sprays of white flowers held on compact branches. Flowers mid-season.

Plants erect up to 48 inches.

Will tolerate a range of positions and soil conditions but does best in a sunny location in humus-rich soil with summer moisture.

Requires infrequent division.


Uniquely compact plant growing to 18 inches. Flowers at the end of the season (mid-Autumn)

Needs to be grown in a position to get as much sun as possible. Soil needs to be kept consistently moist.


Large flower-heads of rich red-purple.

Compact clumps to 50 inches.

Strong sprays with short branches.

Flowers mid-season.



A personal favourite. Large flower-heads of violet-blue, held on sprays reaching 50 inches.

Mid to late-season, often in flower well into October. Sun essential. Prefers a moisture retentive draining soil but will tolerate drier.



A magnificent 5 foot, stiff-stemmed plant, bearing red-purple flowers from September.

Full sun. Forms a dense clump.
